Applied Animal Science Technology
The Applied Animal Science Technology program will give you the foundation you need to begin a career in the animal science industry. Animal Science is the science and business of producing livestock such as beef cattle, dairy cattle, horses, poultry, sheep, goats, and swine.
As a student, you will learn through a combination of classroom and lab experiences, including summer Work-Based Learning work that gives students practical experience, an opportunity to earn money, and potential full-time employment upon graduation.

The demand for animal science technicians is high and students usually have a job before graduation. Livestock and poultry production are some of the biggest industries in our area!

Salary: Entry-level salary ranges from $20,000 to $30,000.
